This presentation will compare three approaches for acquiring geospatial data for site specific projects. Data collected from UAS will be compared and contrasted to other aerial platforms. We will distinguish between LiDAR and photogrammetry, and discuss the most appropriate approach to various project types. We will cover the topics of expected accuracies and best practices for generating and using elevation datasets and planimetrics.
