This presentation will introduce the audience to the new ArcGIS Indoors solution and discuss where it can be best utilized within the GIS industry. Details to be covered include the process of preparing CAD & BIM data for import into ArcGIS Indoors, as well as Esri tools available to help with the process. Other discussion topics will include implementing an Indoor Positioning Systems (ISP) to be used with the Indoors application as well as data collection with 3D scanning tools when BIM data is not available. Audience can expect to gain a better understanding of the Indoors solution and learn examples of how it may help their organization utilize spatial data for facilities and space management and providing a user-friendly visitor interaction.
