Fire Department Call Analysis using Dashboard and Insights for ArcGIS
The City of Waukesha Fire Department responds to thousands of calls for service each year, however day to day and long term analysis of the data is limited by the current dispatch software. To provide Fire Chiefs and administrators with access to current calls, historical data, trends, and inspections, a process was developed to extract data from the dispatch system, transform it, and publish it into services which are consumed by Operations Dashboard and Insights for ArcGIS pages hosted on the City's Portal. This presentation will go through the process used to extract the data, and the configuration of the various sites which use the data.
