Using GIS to Generate Cyber Security Awareness
Cyber-attacks are being levied against small businesses and local governments throughout the United States. To better understand the threat, we must first understand the geography of these attacks. Where are areas of high concern and how can we mitigate risks? This presentation will showcase how the Cyber Security Center for Small Business (CSCSB) is using heat mapping to build a threat awareness among local governments and economic development agencies. GIS is an underutilized tool in the fight against cyber crime.
