Matt Robinson is a Solution Engineer based in Chicago and has been with Esri since February of 2018. He supports state agencies in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan by providing technical expertise on how location technology can used to solve business challenges.
 
Matt is classically trained as a planner but has leveraged GIS technology throughout his career including work at a county GIS consortium in Cincinnati and the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission. Before coming to Esri, Matt worked as a planner for the Michigan Department of Transportation implementing GIS solutions for five years. Matt is a Michigan native and when he’s not at work or traveling, you can find him cooking, baking, or at a local brewery enjoying a craft beer.
