Roger Kain

Roger Kain is a Fellow of the British Academy, the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences and its Vice-President (Research and Higher Education Policy).  He is Professor of Humanities in the School of Advanced Study, University of London and previously its Dean and Chief Executive, 2010-17.  Roger is a Fellow of UCL and an Honorary Professor at University of Exeter (where he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor, 2002-10) and at University of Wisconsin-Madison where he is editor of Volume Five of The History of CartographyCartography in the Nineteenth Century,  funded by the US National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Science Foundation.
